Backposting complete
I finished posting all of the content at my old website. Well, more or less... I dumped some of the unnecessary meta-posts, particularly the ones referring to going to this blog.
Since it's unlikely that anyone will actually read through all of that stuff, I'll point to the entries I think are most worth reading:
-
Quick Quiz #1 (and, currently, only)
This challenge I've actually used during several job interviews. It's a hard way to go about the problem, but a worthy challenge for puzzle seekers.

The Future of Computers
Nightowl's humorous suggestion for a direction to take the high-tech industry. Given the recent disturbing trend of giving everything a USB port, she might not be far off.

laughs The cup warmer...that's brilliant, bloody brilliant, I tell you.
But really, my idea was that you put the waffle making CD/DVD-Rom type drive INTO the computer. I do not need peripherals- I have a lovely Michael Graves for Target wafflemaker for that. No, I want my waffles to come out of my tower.
And just think- someone would have to write a program to tell the computer how to cook the waffle. It could be like Winamp, but only with waffles.

Ah, Quiz #1, you take me back to school. :)
I actually ended up with: ((11)+0)*0, which is, I think, the same solution with the 11 factored. More quizes BP, more!

That's an old one, but a good one. I've always meant to put up some more.
Yes, I believe ((11)+0)*0 is fine.
